We're looking for tenants to join our Scrutiny Group, could that be you?
Our Scrutiny Group review the services we offer and how they are being delivered to ensure they meet tenant needs. Scrutiny Reviews are held both in-person and online, at a time that suits everyone involved.
As a Scrutiny member you will:
Spend 1-2 hours each week participating in reviews where you discuss new ideas and give feedback (these will last no longer than six weeks at a time)
Work as part of a team to evaluate our services
Makes recommendations for service improvements that will benefit all tenants
Approves final reports before they are presented to our tenant committee, Gateway Central
Looks at what other Housing providers are doing and make recommendations for service improvements
Listen to community feedback, making sure the wider tenant voice is considered in the recommendations made.
Some of the skills we would love you to have for this role include:
A passion for making sure Community Gateway provides great service
A positive and constructive approach, willing to work as part of a team, with respect for others and good listening skills
Able to weigh up issues and make fair judgements
Able to interpret figures, information, form views and discuss opinions
Embrace new ideas and come up with creative solutions
Capable of drawing on your tenant experience without focusing on personal issues or complaints
Willingness and ability to challenge in a constructive manner
Able to work both in-person and online
