Did you know that every 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health related problem every year? And these numbers are unfortunately still on the rise.

We're dedicated to supporting our Tenants with their mental health as best we can, which is why we've created this Mental Health Resource Hub full of places you can access support.


Andy's Man Club

Andy's Man Club was formed in 2016 as a place for men to come together to discuss their mental health in an open and welcoming environment. Anyone can attend these sessions, which provide a great space to open up and speak to others who may be in a similar position to you.

When: Every Monday night, 7pm until 9pm (excluding bank holidays).

Where: PNECET office at Deepdale, PR1 6RU.




Lancashire Mind

Lancashire Mind is an independent charity based in Chorley, who aim to support people living and working in Lancashire. They'll help you understand how to look after both yours and others mental health, coping through tough times, improving your wellbeing and more.

We are Lancashire Women

Lancashire Women support over 500 people each year to make positive change in their lives. Over the years, the charity have built their expertise around women’s health, wellbeing, money advice and employability, but do also offer other services to those that need them. Their FAM Project offers one to one counselling for women living in the Fishwick & St Matthews areas of Preston.

Challenge Through Sport Initiative

The CSI is a bespoke behaviour change programme for people who need to build up their resilience to substance misuse. There are various activities on throughout Preston each week, and you can check out the timetable here. You're able to self-refer yourself for their support.

Crisis Line

Lancashire & South Cumbria's Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's staffed by trained mental health professionals who will help refer you to appropriate services.

Talking Therapies

This Talking Therapy service offers free sessions to people aged 16 and over in Lancashire. Whether you know exactly what you're struggling with, or just know you need some support, you can self-refer yourself for the service and speak to a member of their team. You'll then have a initial telephone assessment to decide which support option is best for you and your needs.
