Welcome to the central location for all things Membership!

Whether you're already a long-standing CGA member, or you're not signed up yet and want to find out more, we've detailed everything you need to know below. If you have any questions that we haven't already answered, then get in touch with us at membership@communitygateway.co.uk.


What does Membership mean?

Community Gateway follows the Gateway Model, which means tenants can become Members and have a say on how we’re run. Becoming a Member means you can give us feedback on the way we work and help us make changes for the better. Not only that, but you'll have access to great Members-only benefits (find out more about these below) and earn points to unlock rewards. The best part? It's completely free to join and get involved!

We can only get better at what we do by listening to tenants like you who live in our communities and receive our services. We'll work with you to help improve the services we offer, make our communities a better place to live and provide the best support we can.


How do I earn points, and what can I do with them?

When you sign up as a Member, you'll receive a welcome pack which includes lots of goodies, a Membership booklet and a Membership card linked to your email address. Make sure you keep your Membership card safe, and bring it along to events/activities, because this is how you're going to collect your points.

Points are awarded when Members get involved with us, whether that's by coming along to an event, getting involved in consultations or attending a meeting. We'll scan your Membership card at the event, or add them onto your account for you later, so you can build these up and climb the tiers.

Basically, the more you get involved, the more points you can earn and rewards you can access.

Depending on how many points you have at the end of the year, you'll be entered into one of three prize draws, giving you the chance to win awesome prizes.


What are the different tiers, and what do they mean?

As a Member, you'll have the chance to be in one of three tiers - the more you get involved with us, the more likely you are to reach the highest tier and be in with a chance of accessing the best rewards.

Every single Member will be entered into our prize draws and giveaway competitions. However the higher the tier, the more often and higher value the rewards!


Can I keep track of how many points I have?

You can indeed! You'll just need to log into your Member's Dashboard using the email address you signed up with, and you'll be able to keep a live track of your points total. We'll also be sending out regular communications, which will include your current points total and tier, to make sure you're kept up to date and informed.


What else is in it for me?

  • Vote for tenants who represent you on our Board.
  • Access Members-only activities - like our School Uniform Store, decorating sessions, upcycling sessions and more.
  • Decide which community projects we support.
  • Get a priority invitation for our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • Play our hugely popular online games, with even more opportunities to win prizes.

  • Give us a call on 0800 953 0213 (option 6) and speak to a member of our Engagement Team.

    To become a member, register your details using the below online form, then we'll do the rest.

    The Community Gateway Association Group only collects and processes personal data that is necessary for us to offer you a service or perform our duties as an organisation. The data you provide on this form is used to establish a contract with us as a shareholder. This applies to tenants and leaseholders only who will be registered as full members. We will not share your information for marketing purposes with any companies outside of our group.
