Hi everyone!
The Engagement Team have been out and about in Blackpool recently, speaking to tenants about getting involved -it’s great to see some of our Blackpool tenants signing up to our involvement activities and coming along. Details of all our opportunities can be found on the main page of our Tenant Hub, including our next Winter Warner session. All tenants who attend will receive a free Winter Warmer pack, refreshments, information on how to get involved, advice from National Energy Action on how to keep your home toasty and the opportunity to win an airfryer in the raffle!
If you are a CGA tenant in Blackpool there are plenty of Community Activities to get involved with! Here’s a selection of activities going on:
Lancashire Women deliver a range of activities from their main hub in Blackpool. Their Coffee and Art Wellbeing group runs on a Monday at 1pm and a Thursday at 10am. This is a lovely group and if you feel it’s something you’d like to get involved with, please see their Facebook page or the events calendar on our Tenant Hub. You can find Lancashire Women Blackpool at 255 Church Street, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 3PB.
The Grange is the new community hub for the Grange Park area of Blackpool. It’s home to the Community Farm, Community Shop, alibrary, the Adult and Family Learning team,One Stop Shop, the Grange Pharmacy, Community Café and the Blackpool North Police Team.If you live in the area and would like to go and visit them, even just for a brew please visit their website.
Aunty Social are a fabulous community arts organisation located in the centre of Blackpool. They give people opportunities to develop their creativity, learn new skills and connect with others through positive arty activities. Please visit their website to find out more.
Keep an eye on the Tenant Hub for our Gateway2You session that will be coming to Blackpool. This will be an opportunity for our tenants to come and speak to various teams at CGA. There will be the opportunity to speak to our Engagement Team, Tenancy Services and Tenancy Support teams to name a few.
